I’m forever grateful to God for those who He brought into my life and that they invested their time and energy in helping me on my life’s journey. I’m thankful for their good deeds and blessings. I, in return I have done good deeds for others on their journey as well.
In my early search for my family history, I collected all that I could on my family history. I wrote down what my parents shared with me about their family history. I kept old photos and news clippings.
I'm thankful for all my relatives who shared a lot about what they knew with me. I'm thankful for my Aunt Josie Wilson, cousin, Marta Brown, cousin, Willie Winfrey, cousin, Mary Jane Lightner, searcher, Carolyn M. Bartles, cousin, Ted Blakey, cousin, William L. Terrill and others who shared things with me through the years. I hope to find more on what they shared with me.
I’m thankful for the breakthroughs throughout my search. I wouldn’t have done it without the help of those who do good deeds. This encourages me to want to keep searching and to help others on their search.
God has made us what we are, and in our union with Christ Jesus he has created us for a life of good deeds, which he has already prepared for us to do. ~ Ephesians 2: 10 ~ Good News Translation
I hope that we will continue to do good works as we go about doing good deeds to others. There are people God places into our daily walk for a purpose. Only if we can see the opportunities show some good deeds to them.
May God grant us discernment to do for others.
May we be appreciative for all that others do for us.
May we have a thankful heart as we are on our way to where God is leading us.
