Quitman "Danny" FLUDD III was born on Feb 29, 1948, to Quitman D. Fludd Jr. and Thomas Sarah PEYTON Fludd Anderson in Tennessee.

Quitman was on the boardway production of "Hello Dolly." I find this info on Quitman in products, PerformerTheatre Credits , About the performer Entr'acte: Life Is Like a Train

James Foster Jr  on Quitman's Find A Grave Memorial posted;
 "Quitman cast me in his musical, "Fascination", back in 1975. It was the first show I was hired for after moving to NYC. It was produced at a theater called The Glines, near Canal Street. At the time, he was understudy for Ben Vereen on Broadway in the original "Pippin".Last time I saw him, just before he moved to CA, he said he was finishing a musical version of "Summer of '42".A great "

Another relative born on Leap Day 1896 was my Great Uncle Nym LANKFORD / LANKFARD. He's on my mother's Isaac and Frances (DADE) Family Connections.

Happy Leap Day 2016!

We have an extra day this year. This day only comes every four years. Hope you enjoy your day!

On my family history journey, I came across two relatives who were born on Leap Day. One was my Great Uncle Nym  who's on my mother's lineage and a cousin Quitman "Danny" Fludd III who's on my father's side. Both have some interesting things about them.

On my mother's Isaac and Frances (OVINGTON) DADE Family Connections

Nym LANKFORD / LANKFARD was born on Feb 29, 1896 to Robert and Charlotta (DADE) LANKFORD / LANKFARD in St. Joseph, Missouri.

Nym was married to Hattie McDaniel, the actress. He also was married to Irene Graham and a German woman by the name of Gertrude.

Nym was and still is consider a part of the entertainer world because he was married to Hattie McDaniel.
