Daughter of A.P. and Babe
Sister has been with us since the Spring of 2002. She was born on November 16 or 17 of 2001. How we came about having Sister as our dog? How did she get her name? Sister was our sister's dog. One day our sister got mad at Sister because she would always get out of about a 6 foot fence.
Sister did not like living in that place. She had 5 other brothers. Some how Sister learned how to climb the fence. When I heard that she kept doing that I call her Houdini. She was a smart little puppy. Our sister did not like Sister climbing out of the fence. Sister would wonder out into the streets. One day our sister carried Sister across the street and ask us to keep Sister for a few days. Yeah, Sister has been with us for about a few hours. Right. Like about 5 years.
After we got Sister,... I wanted to renamed her. I thought of the name because she was the only girl. I thought sister could not get along with those boys. She had to get out of that place and she did. I shared the story of Sister's dad A.P.--December 2, 2006 Blog. I have not figured out how to just type in that site so you can click on to it. I will try to tag it on my site.
Last year around this time we noticed that Sister was getting bigger. We thought that we were feeding her too much or she was eating too much. I notice that Sister was acting strangely when I would give her and Spotty their morning biscuit. Sister would stop twirling around like a bull would. Then one day Sister just about bit my finger to get her biscuit. I had thought come to my thinking why Sister was acting the way she was--only time would prove what I was thinking.
During the last week of January of 2006, Sister would come out of her house late and would hurry back into her house. I thought to myself that's not like Sister. So I told my brothers. We did not know what was going on... Until February 4, 2006--
I was out side looking around. Sister seemed to be OK. So my brother went out to see Sister too. He said that Sister was acting strange. She would go in and out of her house. As she did that she would look back at my brother and go in her house. She did this enough times that made my brother get up ---GO and SEE what she wanting him to see.
As my brother went and saw what Sister was trying to tell him, he discovered--SURPRISE, SURPRISE, SURPRISE---new born puppies. They has their eyes open. Yeah, that was my thought that I have in January. Sister was going to have puppies. We did not know that she was going to have puppies. We think that the puppies were born the last week of January 2006. They were about a week old when my brother made the discovery.
There were 6 in all: 3 boys and 3 girls. Sister took very good care of her babies. It was very cold during January through March. She kept her babies warm. She did all what a mother would do for her babies. She correct them as well. Sister was a GOOD Mama.
When it came time to give Sister's puppies away, I talked to her before we did that. We thought that first the girl dogs would be the hardest to found someone to care for. Our sister has the one who looks like A.P. Her name is Sugar. Sugar; the smallest, friendliest and the smartest one of them all. She got loose one day and came back to home to see her family. She just lives across the street: Like mama like daughter wanting to visit.
The other two sisters live with two sisters not to far from us. They were happy that their dad let them have them. The two other boy dogs live with one of our brothers in Kansas. The boy dogs names are Blue and Red. Sister watched each one of her babies go. She knew it was time for them to leave.
As for the last boy dog, we had trouble finding him a home for him. There were people who said that they wanted him but never came to get him... My brother was thinking about keeping the little fellow. I had a talk with Sister about it. You would never guest what Sister's reaction was... I told Sister that we might have to keep the last dog. She ducked her head. turned around and went into her dog house. Your guest is as good as mine to what Sister was thinking about. We did not have a dog house for Sunny. He slept with his mama. He kept wanting milk too. Sunny was a "mama's boy".
Yeah, we kept Sunny. He is the only "true" dog that we can say we ever had--Sunny has been with us from day one. All the other dogs we had were either given to us, dogs that others had to find a home for, dogs who were "lost" and could not find a place to stay. I can say Sunny is our first dog: He was not given to us. Sunny just happen to come along. I see Sunny was a apart of God's plan for us.
--- I named him Sunny because he is the son of Sister. The dogs name had to start with a "S". Ever since Sunny has been with us, he has brighten up Sister and Spotty world. We need to get Sister "fix". No more puppies. It seems every time we plan to get this done this year, something comes up. It's a must to do when the weather gets warmer.
I just thought to share This Dog Story with you on this very last Tuesday of 2006. I told you that Sister reminds me of Scooby Doo and Dino Flintstone. However Sister does not jump on me. She knows better. Sister sits and stares when she see me coming. Some times one ear is up and the other one down. That's Scooby Doo. As I am making my way to her, she jumps for joy. That's Dino Flintstone.
May you continue to count the days as you enter into your days ahead. Who knows you might have a surprise surprise surprise!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Why did I share this story with you? I believe that animals are a gift from God. Sister, Sunny and Spotty are some of the blessed dogs that I know. Because God has entrust me to take care of them. A part of our family history is what we have been given to us, what we earned and what we have to offer others. Some surprises come from God. Some just happens. Sunny is a blessings.

Brave Little Kitten
A few years back on June 30th, we had some visitor that came to our door. They heard a very loud noise that sounded like a cat. When the 2nd person said the same thing, we went looking. We heard where the sound came from.
I made my way to the garden. I saw a little kitten on the other side of the fence. The next thing I knew this kitten came through the fence. He was coming at me.
I back up. And picked some thing up so the cat won't get on me. The kitten was determine. He keep coming out at me. He came on the porch. I made my way into the house.
The cat stay was trying to get in the house. He stayed on the porch. My brother said that the kitten will not bother us. The cat still won't leave the porch area.
The next day I went out the door. The kitten was still there. He followed me where I went. I went to feed the dogs. The kitten followed me. As I made my way to the first dog. I told Sister to leave the cat along. The cat keep going to Sister.
Sister started smelling the kitten. I keep telling the cat to get away and Sister to leave the cat alone. Then next thing I noticed the kitten ran into Sister's house.
Sister ran after the kitten. Sister started barking. I tried to pull Sister away from her house. Then Sister went in her house with the kitten.
Indeed I had to pull Sister's chain to get her out of her house. It was amazing that the little kitten was still alive. I took some photos of this rare moments.
Sister was looking at a kitten in her house. The kitten did get away. I thought the little kitty was a goner. After the kitten ran out of the house. He came back to Sister.
The kitten must have had brain relapse. Sister left the cat alone. I was hoping that the kitten wouldn't come back to get the dogs' food.
The kitten followed me back home. He stayed around. My nephew said that the kitten was going around to the dogs. That kitten must be brave.
The next morning the kitten was around. Then the following day no one saw the kitten. We don't know what happened to the little one.
Perhaps one of our neighbors took him in. We couldn't take care of a kitten. We have dogs. Our dogs don't go to well with kittens.
I wondered whatever happened to that kitty. I never thought much of him since that summer. But last year I was coming home from church. I saw a cat coming my way. He kept coming. I told him to get.
As I went into the yard, the cat kept following me. The cat jump on the fence. I couldn't believe it. He did look like that little kitten I some time ago. I thought that was something. Wonder why the cat came back?

It appears that someone took the little kitten in.

Doggy Stories
This was written on a Dog Day in August of 2007, I thought to share some things that happened on that day.
I made a special trip to see our dogs this evening. They were happy to see me. They haven't seen me since Friday. One of my brothers take turns feeding our dogs.
As I made my way to see the dogs, I noticed that they were happy to see me. Sister saw me coming and sat down. She was looking for a biscuit. Spotty was running around in circles. Sunny, Sister's boy was just looking. He was wondering if it was me.
My brother was there. He handed me some biscuits. Sister got all happy! I told her to sat down. Finally she did. I made my way over to Spotty. I did not want a biscuit. He was just happy to see. It was the same with Sunny. I handed them their biscuits and they did not take it from my hand. Actually Spotty knock his out of my hand. He did want the biscuit. He wanted to see me.
Another Doggy Story...
One of my sister's dogs was untied this morning. I heard him barking. I looked to see which on it was. It was Angel. Beside him was Buddy. For the last couple of times, Angel has been untied, he has been letting Buddy out of his gate. Yeah, Angel pulls the gate knob up with his nose. He's a smart dog.
Angel and Buddy were not the best of friends at the start. One day I heard that Angel drug Buddy about 10 feet one day. Buddy is was adopted. Angel had two other brothers. Butch and R.J. They are all Sister's brothers. Sister has a daughter, Sugar who lives with her uncles. Sugar has her own gate.
On the 4th of July of this year, Buddy was untied. The next morning we found him in Angels house. Angel was right beside him. Then there was another time this happened. It was thundering and lightening. They were in the house together again. Yeah, Buddy and Angel have become best of friends.
I love dogs! It may sound funny but I like to talk to some dogs. At times they bark back at me when I am not looking at them. Some times they listen to me. I got Sister to sat down in order to get her biscuit. It took her a while to catch on. I believe that dogs have an idea on some times. They get jealous too.

A Part Of The Family
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A.P. Dec 7, 1991 - Dec 2, 2006
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Here is an update on A.P., My sister's almost 15 year old dog. I got the word that A.P. had to be put to sleep this morning.
He had been suffering with arthritis with his back legs. The doctor thought that A.P. could have had a stroke or had a tumor. It was best to put him to sleep. A.P. was a outside dog. He was not able to get around.
What I can tell you about A.P. He was part shepherd and Lab. He lived a HAPPY life. He lived across the street from us. A.P. was born on Dec 7, 1991. [A.P. was the football player's dog.... Double D's.]
His Ma was taking care of A.P... Double D was the one that gave A.P. this name. A.P. does not stand for Associated Press.
A.P. was named after a basketball player in MO, who later made it to the NBA. Some how back in '91 this Anthony was big time then. Some how the letters A.P. came to be this dog's name.
A.P. grew up with four "cousin" dogs, "Luke", "Duke", "Messy Marvin", and "Little Bit". "M. Marvin" looked just like A.P. They got along pretty good together.
You could have thought that "M. Marvin" was his daddy. A.P." cousin dogs" taught him well throughout out his young dog life. One by one A.P. cousins dogs died. A.P. was left alone.
A.P. did not get along with other dogs. He would always get into fights. When a new dog came to keep A.P. company, A.P. would not like them. There was one dog A.P. liked. She was the "neighbor dog".
I called her "Rover". She would come over to A.P. place and they would play. Her real name was "Gigett." Gigett would climb the fence to get in. Then there were days that I did not see "Gigett".
I asked my neighbor were she was..."Gigett had to be put to sleep. She was 15. That was about 6 or 7 years ago.
Then A.P. did not have any "dog friends". So my sister got another dog to keep A.P. company. A.P. did not like this dog.
This dog did not stay long. His name was "Coco". He liked going around the neighborhood to kill cats and bring them home to show what he did... My sister got rid of that dog. "Coco" was a bird dog. Black Lab.
So A.P. was all alone again. Not to long after "Coco" left. A.P. started to break loose. At one time it was just for a short while... he came back. The second time A.P. was gone for about a week.
We look for him but could not find him. Until one day he came up the street. I had a talk with A.P. He did not listen to me.
The third time A.P. broke loose he was gone for about two weeks. Two of my brothers were out working and A.P. recognized truck and came running after them. A.P. was happy to see them and happy to be home.
I had another long talk with A.P. Yeah, that was the last time he broke loose. Then one day summertime July 2002, a dog came in the neighborhood.
A.P. liked this dog. A.P. let this dog sleep in his house, drink his water and eat his food. A.P. was in love. Yeah, this dog was a female.
The female dog was later named "Babe". There was one thing that A.P. would not let "Babe" have....his biscuits. A.P. loved his biscuits.
Four months later A.P. became a "father" dog.[ Note: I think it takes about 63 days for a dog to have puppies.] There were 8 dogs in all.
Two died within the day of the birth. The other six were 5 boys and 1 girl. Yeah, A.P. helped raised his family. I heard that when it was time to get fed, A.P. made sure that all the other dogs had food first before he would eat.
A.P. would not eat until he knew that all had food when they were puppies. A.P. would bark if it was time to eat. He look after his family. He always wanted his biscuits. He had to have two.
On March 8, 2006 the "Mama dog""Babe" had to be put to sleep. A.P. was left with three "sons dogs and a step son dog". He lived out his happy life.
A.P.'s grand daughter.... "Sugar Bear". She looks like her grandpa, A.P.
A.P. had trouble walking. It got worst. The only thing that A.P. had trouble with was his walking. I heard that he eat well during his last days. I knew that he missed his biscuits.
A.P. left me with memories... I saw A.P. one day barking up in the air. I thought to myself, what is he barking at. I looked up and saw an air plane.
It appears that A.P. saw it too. A.P. was a smart dog. Yeah, we got one of A.P.'s off springs..... "Sister"[she's the black and white dog above.]
She was the only girl of the bunch. "Sister" had six puppies this year. We kept one of them. I named him "Sunny", he's the tan and white dog above. "Sunny" is as big as his mama.
I can see a little of A.P. in his off springs. In all A.P. was a GOOD DOG. I called him my "nephew dog". So "Sister" is my "great niece "dog. "Sunny" is my 2nd great "nephew "dog.
I share this story with you because I believe that animals are a part of the family. I learned a lot by my dogs and others dogs. They have a personalty too that brings joy into our lives.
God gives us gifts to enjoy. I enjoy my gifts of caring for "Sister", "Sunny" and "Spotty". They are a part of the family. A.P. was too.
Thanks for reading.

Stray Cats
I think that it was in the late 1980's when I realized that we had a lot of stray cats in our neighborhood. One day one of my brothers was cleaning up our of our mother's lots. He made a discovery.
My brother showed me a mother cat and her baby kittens. I cannot recall how many baby kittens there were. But the family of cats lived in a truck bed type shelter.
Through the days, weeks ahead the mother cat and father cat would abandon their kittens. One day one of my brothers saw that the mother and father cat would not let their kittens eat. I did not know that cats did that.
My brother would also see the mother or the father cat coming to get the food while the baby kitten would be eating. My brother noticed that there was baby kitten looking around as he was eating. And when the kitten saw one of his parents coming he would run away.
So then my brother started to chase off the mother and father cat when the baby kittens would eat. Through the process of time, there was one cat that draw fond of my brother. So my brother name that cat "Killer Wood."
"Killer Wood" would start coming to my brother, "Eddie". "Killer Wood" would only come to my brother. But eventually he would come to me and others.
I recall one time "Killer Wood would come in to our front door a little ways, looked around and went back out the door. I thought that that was strange.
As for "Killer Wood" we don't know what happen to him. My brother noticed that "Killer Wood's hair was shedding. The cat did not look right.
The last we heard of "Killer Wood", someone saw of him was going down a sewer in February 1999. "Killer Wood" lived to be about 8 or 9. That is good for a stray cat.
Then about two years ago, another stray cat came into our lives. This happened at the house where we use to live. This cat made his home under our house.
This cat reminded us of "Killer Wood." He was very friendly. We later found out that it was one of our neighbors cat that left home.
My brother Eddie named this cat, "Woody". "Woody would always come a running for something to eat. Then one day Eddie notice something about this cat.
"Wood" was a girl cat. She was about to give birth to her kittens. Then one day we did not know where "Woody" was. She had her kittens but we did not know where.
Not to long after the kittens were born, "Woody" came up to my brother, Eddie. "Woody" collapsed. It turned out that she was hit by a car. We ended up calling the animal control. They came and got "Woody" and her kittens.
The irony of this story. "Woody" came back to tell Eddie that she was hurt. That was strange. Perhaps she was worried about her kittens.
We did not know where the kitten were until they came out from under our house. There were about 5 of them. The were wondering where their mother was.
There are still a lot of stray cats in the neighborhood. Some of them look like "Killer Wood" and "Woody". Perhaps they are from the same family of cats.
By the way, it is against the law to feed cats that are not registered in St Joseph, MO. That is what a friend told me. Yeah, there is a fine, if caught. (Cat License)
P.S.
We don't feed stray cats. Our dogs don't like cats. They bark at time all the time.
What I am aware of on
my journey of transformation.
As I was thinking about some of the animals that live in our neighborhood, how they came a part of our lives. Seeing the birds , the squirrels, the dogs and stray cats, how they survived and eat every day. They depended on their source of food from somebody.
This reminds me of our Family Dogs and Neighbor Dogs that I remember as I was growing up. How they were a part of our lives. There were a lot of dogs in our neighborhood. Cats would not have made it back then.
From my Book of Thanks and Blessings....
Father God, I am thankful that you put animals in our lives to care for. I am thankful that we have FAITH as a mustard seed. I am thankful for the saving knowledge of Jesus my SALVATION. I am thankful for the HOPE the in within me. I am thankful for the Door of HOPE.

Dogs In The Family & Neighbor Dogs
The First dog that I can remember in my family was "Fido". I don't know what breed of dog "Fido" was. What I remember about "Fido", he was iffy iffy.
He would be good to us. He was a happy dog. And at times turn on us. "Fido" would attack people if he though we were in danger.
Then again, there was a time when I was out in the back yard helping my Father clean up. I bent over to pick up something. All of a sudden "Fido" came running out of his house and charged at me biting my stomach.
Yes,"Fido" was something else. He liked to bit. He loved chasing cars tires. Well, one day our Father was going on his trash route. "Fido" broke loose and went chasing after the truck. This time "Fido" got ran over.
My Father buried "Fido" in our backyard. I was there looking on. Even though "Fido"was a crazy dog, I still like dogs.
It was until a few years ago that I learned how we got Fido. A Word of Lifer filled me in on that. The guy gave Fido to one of my brothers. I told this guy that that dog was crazy. He said that he knew that, that was why they got rid of the dog.
The second I remember was "Renk-A-Dink." We got him from a cousin. "Renk-A-Dink" was half mixture of something . I don't recall much about "Renk-A-Dink".
"Renk- A- Dink" was an old dog. He lived to until July 8th 1979. He died half way out side of his house.
Then came along other dogs that were added with the ones that we had. There was "Killer" Her real name was Terrie. She was a Terrie Poodle.
She came in September of 1977 or 78. She was given to us by our brother Charlie and his wife. They were have a baby and could not have the dog no longer.
I forgot how "Killer" her name. She was our first house dog. I remember our Uncle Ad would stop by. He would come to the door. He would call "Killer" "Door Bell." Everything the door bell would ring "Killer" would bark.
"Killer" lived the good life. My Father spoiled her. She was always by his side. In the latter days of "Killer's" life arthritis settled in. We had to put her asleep on May 10th 1989.
Then there was "Bud". He came to us during the 1980's. Our brother Danny had this dog. I name the dog, "Bud". He was so small as a puppy. He was like a bud. He was in the house for a little while.
What was so special about "Bud", he would bow to me. He was so friendly. He loved getting untied and ran the neighborhood. Well, one day he broke loose. I told him that he needs to stop that.
"Bud" didn't listen to me. He broke loose during the Fall of 1986. He could not found. He was not at the dog pound. We thought that someone take him in. That was my "Bud". There have been none like him.
Then there was "Misty". Her real name was "Snowball". She came during April of 1983. She was our brother Charlie's dog. He and his wife had two sons. They could no longer keep the dog.
Yeah, we had another house dog along with "Killer". They did not get along to well. "Killer'' was in the front of the house. "Misty was in the back of the house. I changed "Snowball" name to "Misty. She was a white poodle.
"Misty was spoiled too. She loved to look out the window. She would climb up on the sofa and look out the windows.
She lived a long life until she was getting old and sick. She would snap at our nephews and nieces when they came over. She had to be put to sleep in October of 1997.
Then there was "Thunder". He came into the neighborhood around 1986. He was a puppy black Lab. We think he was about 6 months old.
He loved to climb fences. Our sister Freda had some rabbits in her backyard. "Thunder" was looking at them. The would not leave.
We placed an ad in the newspaper. but no one claim the dog. So my brother Roger did. However, we ended up taking care of "Thunder". I think this was about a little bit after "Bud" left.
"Thunder" was dog number 5. But there were other dogs at did not stay long. There were at least 2 or 3. I cannot remember some of their names.
There was one dog I recall looked like Lassie. He kept running off to our neighbors. So the neighbors took him in.
Then there was another Lab. His name was J.J. Some one shot him in the leg with a be be gun. Then there was a dog who we called "Box Head". His head looked like a box.
There was "Lighting" in 1986 or 1987. He had "stampers" died on February 10, 1989. There was a puppy named "Buddy." He lived less than a week.
Back to "Thunder" he live with us up to Jan /Feb 2002. By this time, he had arthritis. He had lost his hearing but had good eye sight. When he would walk he would fall down.
On day "Thunder" broke loose. When looked for him. We could never found him. We thought that may he returned home. I checked with the dog pound. He was not there.
Then came "Spotty". He came around December of 1998. He was walking up the street when my brother, Mike found him. "Spotty" is half dalmatian mix. We ended up caring for "Spotty".
Our nephew, Roger named "Spotty". I wanted to call the dog "Spot". The dog has a lot of spots on him. One thing about "Spotty", he is hyper.
I remember one time "Spotty" came and jumped on me. I kick him. I did not hurt him. But you know what? From that day on "Spotty" does not came to me until I say so.
There were times that "Spotty" would bow down to me. There are times he would stand behind me. I never figured that on out. "Spotty" is the only dog of the 1900's. He is the oldest going on 10.
Then in 2002 came "Sister". She was given to us by our sister, Freda. I blog about "Sister" A Surprise, Surprise, Surprise Story of 2006.
"Sister kept climbing the fence. So our sister, Freda got tired of that. She and her husband had 8 dogs. "Sister's" Mother and Father and their sons.
"Sister" is still with us. She is mostly German Shepherd and some Lab. She reminds me of Scooby Do. One hear up and one down. She even has the look.
And she also reminds me of Dino on the Flintstones. She twirls when I came to her at times. She loves dog biscuits. Just like her daddy A.P. (Anthony Peeler)
One thing about "Sister", she will not move until we move off the porch. She will just look at us. Then she gets real happy when we head her way.
One thing I taught "Sister" was to sit. I won't give her dog biscuits until she sits. It took a while for her to catch on. When she knows that I have a biscuit, she will sit.
There is another dog. He is "Sister's" son, "Sunny". Sister had 6 puppies near the end of January early February 2006. We keep one. I named him "Sunny". He brighten up "Sister" and "Spotty's" life.
"Sunny's" father is one of the neighbor's dog. "Sunny" is as big as his mother. There were times when "Sunny"would hide his food tray from us. But now, he has been bringing the trays to us. He is so smart.
Out of all the dogs, "Sunny" is the only dog we kept that was born to us. That was special. Also "Sunny" is a third generation dog. We never had this before. It was not a FAMILY MYSTERY who Sunny's mother was.
This is the history of the dogs that I remember at our family home. There are other dogs that I call "cousin dogs" to our dogs on the block.
I will not go into their history. There was Sheba, Flowers, Shadow (He reminded me of "Fido". "Shadow" was crazy too), Brownie and Dragon, (Dragon is still in the neighborhood in 2011.)
The following dog have died. There was "Duke", "Luke", "Messy Marvin", "Little Bit", "Coco" ( He was a Lab who hunted down cats in the neighborhood.) Father of "Sister" "A.P.", "Sister's" mother "Babe". Sister's brothers. "A.P Jr, and another dog were given away.
There are Sister's brothers who are still with us "Butch", "R.J." ,"Angel." There is "Chico" "Buddy." I named "Buddy" he's adopted.
Oh, there is one more puppy dog, her name was "Sugar". She was "Sunny's" sister. She looks like her Grandpa A.P. and some what like her daddy too. He's the neighbor -dog. (Sugar died April of 2010.)
What I am aware of
on my journey of transformation.
Through the years, our family pets have been a part of our lives. It is so fun to have pets. I mostly like dogs. That was all I grew up with.
I think that we always had a dog or dogs around our house when I grew up. Each dog had there own personality. Some were so smart. I wondered how knew what they did.
I have grew to love dogs over the years. I like talking to our dogs. Our dogs have an idea at times what I am talking about. They have their own language as well. Yeah, they get jealous of one another too.

Family Dog Stories
Back on March the 9th 2009. I was talking out loud about a dog that ran out in 1986. My dog run away. I have a picture of my dog Bud. He was my dog.
I told him not to leave the yard when he gets untied. He wouldn't listen. One day we never saw him again. Well that was about 23+ years ago.
I don't know how I got on that subject. But one of my brother, John started talking about the first dog he remembered growing up. He said he was in the first grade when Brownie came to live with the family.
My brother said that the dog come from Grandma and Grandpa down the street. Their dog must to have had puppies. Brownie was one of them.
What my brother told me, Brownie live to be about 20. The dog died about 1964. Brownie some how lived with one of the neighbors in his latter dogs. Brownie was blind and had a hard time walking.
One day Mrs. Gibson call. She said that Brownie died. My brother didn't know what they did with Brownie's body.
Then my brother spoke of another dog that came around in the 1960's. This one was named Pete. But they later found out that Pete was having puppies.
Their was a neighbor who wanted to steal one of Pete's puppies. But Pete wouldn't let this neighbor take her puppies. Pete would always bark that this neighbor.
Then one day that neighbor throw a chair at one of the puppies. The puppy had a broken leg. My brother said that our father had to take the dogs to the dog pound.
Then we talk about dog houses. There was something that I didn't know. The house that one of our dogs lives in now is over 30 years old. Our dog Rink A Dink live in that house.
Rink A Dink died about 32 years. That day was July 10, 1979. One of my brothers remained me something. He said that my dog Bud wouldn't sleep in that dog house. I don't recall that.
Yeah, that dog house is still in use after 30 + years. Our dog "Sister" lives there now. The house is well lived in.
The first dog that I can remember was Fido. That dog was crazy.
Our pets are apart of our lives. Each animal that we have as pets are different. They mean things to us when we are with them. It's apart of the joy that God gives us as we go through life. I am thankful that God has given us animals to care for.
