William Madison was born the son of  Joshua and Louis/ Louise (Hart) McEwan Madison about 1869 in Glallatin,, Missouri.

William married Lula Lankford on May 27 , 1896 in St. Joseph, Missouri.
Lula's maiden name was written as LANKFARD.
