I stumbled across this advertisement some years ago. I didn’t know about this. I have seen the 1912 and 1913 city directories in St. Joseph, Missouri listing Robert Lankford’s occupation with a restaurant. I thought that this was odd. Robert was into stonemason and constriction work.

The advertisement ran nine times from March 17, 1911 to May 26, 1911.
March, 17, 24, and 31 ~ April 7, 14, 21, and 28 ~ May 5 and 26th.

There’s no family story about the restaurant.
